Florence, Italy

If we had to describe Italy in one word it word it would be beautiful. Everything there there is simply stunning, from the timeless architecture to breathtaking landscapes and awe-inspiring cathedrals. Even the laid back and friendly culture there is a pleasure to be around. The food never fails to impress anyone from anywhere around the world, as Italy is home to some of the most fresh, natural, and delicious dishes you will ever eat anywhere. 

We recommend Florence to travelers that are looking for a vacation rich in culture, beauty, and delicious food. It is an amazing place to take it slow and soak in the amazing architecture and culture that has developed over many centuries. Italian society is known in particular for being relaxed and so paced, so if you are looking for a vacation where you can see a lot of different places in a short amount of time or just want to do many activities quickly, Florence may not be the right vacationing choice. 

Chicago

Chicago is one of the greatest cities in the world because of its unmatched skyline and rich history. Some of America’s most famous landmarks are found here, including the Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower), the Chicago River, Navy Pier, Millennium Park, the Art Institute, and more. While there, we recommend grabbing a Chicago style hot dog, deep dish pizza, Italian beef, or all three!

If you are looking for a bustling city with stunning architecture, a lively nightlife, tons of amazing landmarks, a fun sporting scene, and more Chicago is the perfect place for you. However, any traveler should keep in mind that Chicago can reach temperatures below freezing, so plan your trip accordingly. Additionally, Chicago probably is not the best option for someone looking to take it slow on a relaxing vacation away from home. But if this sounds like you, our next destination may be just the place you’re looking for!

Banff National Park, Alberta Canada

Simply put, Banff National Park is one of the most stunning places on planet Earth. Over 3 million people visit this haven every year to experience the crystal-like water, awe-inspiring mountains, abundant wildlife, thick forests, and more. Travelers that visit Banff National Park can also enjoy a wide variety  of fun activities like hiking, camping, skiing, biking, and more. 

We recommend Banff National Park to anyone who is tired of the day to day busyness and wants to take it slow while reconnecting with mother nature. It can also be a good pick for travelers looking for exciting outdoor adventures like kayaking or skiing. Regardless of which one of these descriptions fits you, Banff will surely never disappoint anyone looking for a beautiful nature reserve. With all that being said, if you want more variety in the types of activities you can do during your vacation, more bustling and city like locations will probably be a better fit for you. 

Kaui, Hawaii

Everybody needs to just relax at a beach and bathe in the sun every once in a while, and Kuai is the perfect place to do so. This island also holds more than just beaches, and is sometimes referred to as the “Garden Island” due to its gorgeous valleys, magical waterfalls, and tropical rainforests. Aside from tanning at the beach and taking in the beauty of the landscape, other popular activities at Kaui include snorkeling, hiking, and zip-lining.

When it comes to relaxing and luxurious vacations in a location full of awe-inspiring beauty, Kaui is second to none. From hiking through forests to watching sunsets, this island is certainly one of the best places to go when looking for a chance to rejuvenate and escape the busyness of work or school. However, Kaui may not be the vacation spot of your dreams if you are looking for a relaxing location that is more secluded, as it is quite the popular tourist destination and as such many of the industries there are catered towards tourists.

Caesarea, Israel

Caesarea is a city that, much like Italy, combines the ancient culture of Israel with modern day architecture and societal structures. The architecture of this one of a kind city dates back to 25 BC during the reign of King Herod, which is reflected in the rich history that can be seen not only in the museums but also in the very streets and structure of the city. The most famous part of Caesarea is Caesarea National Park, which is where most of the ancient architecture can be found, like the Herodian Amphitheater, where slaves battled wild animals, a shrine to Roma and Augustus, Promontory Palace, and more. Aside from visiting this national park, tourists in Caesarea can go to beautiful beaches, scuba dive, and discover amazing ruins. 

Caesarea is a destination best suited to people with an appreciation and interest in history and ancient societies. Visiting this city would also likely be an enriching experience for people who consider the time period and location it was made in significant for their religion. People who want a more modern vacation experience or are not interested in learning about the history of ancient Israel should probably select a different location
